Book review: Settling the Score (The Summer Games, #1)

Settling the Score by R.S. GreySettling the Score by R.S. Grey

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Overly dramatic at times the book was quite enjoyable and funny. It would score all of five stars if not for two main problems I had with the story:

1. Kinsley and Becca took their roles as overprotective big sisters too close to heart. I was annoyed with them at the beginning but then it got better.

2. Freddie, as sweet and intense as he was, had an air of selfishness about him. Why did he absolutely had to drag Andie in his mess and right at that time? Typical that she had to bear the waight of this situation almost entirely on her own. Like she hadn’t enough on her plate already.

Putting those things aside, I can honestly say that I loved this book enough to get my hands on the prequel (Kinsley’s story), the sequel (although it features a different couple) and Georgie’s own book, wich I’m the most excited about. Georgie was my absolute favorite character and I can’t wait to read more about her adventures.
