Book review: The Hooker and the Hermit

The Hooker and the HermitThe Hooker and the Hermit by L.H. Cosway

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Song: MS MR – Hurricane

Ok, I’m happy. I have all the boxes for my fun romantic read checked. It didn’t hurt that Ronan is an Irishman either. Oh, who am I kidding, I’m a total book stalker for Irishmen. I mean if I had real Irishmen where I live, I would probably become a real stalker so it’s best for them to keep that in mind. But Ronan, he was droolworthy all on his own. Yes, he had a dirty mouth sometimes and he wears those godawful toe-shoes, and he’s anal about what he eats, but he’s amazing where it really counts.

“I don’t always want you tied up. I want you free. I want you wild. I want you brave. I want you any way I can get you. I want you now, and I want you for the rest of my life.”

I adored Annie. She’s nuttier than a Snickers bar, but she is adorably nuts. So what that she’s a hermit? I have a mild case of hermitism myself and I’m totally alright. Right? No? Oh, shut up, what to do you know.

That’s right, I’m a reclusive pervert, and I make no apologies for it. And, giving the matter some thought, a reclusive pervert is much preferable to an extroverted pervert.

The series has an awesome start and got my attention for sure. I’m hoping Joan makes a cameo somewhere along the way, that woman is da bomb. This is exciting.

Over and out
