Book review: Angels’ Pawn

Angels' PawnAngels’ Pawn by Nalini Singh

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Song: One Way Or Another by Blondie

Ashwini and Janvier’s relationship was my favourite sidestory from the books, making me curious about how it came to be. These two take the game of cat and mouse to a new level and damn if it isn’t sexy! But when push comes to shove, it’s Janvier who Ash asks for assistance. Going alone in the den of a sadistic angel is never a good idea, ending up in the middle of a power play between two vampire fractions is also a headache, so having an ace up her sleave (or a sexy Cajun for that matter) is a must. Girl should always be prepared. The fact that said Cajun makes a mean cup of java is a big bonus in my book.

That’s not to say that the chase is over between hunter and the prey. Simply postponed for a little while, but who’s who in this scenario remains to be seen.

Over and out
