Book review: Such a Rush

Such a RushSuch a Rush by Jennifer Echols

My rating: 4.2 of 5 stars

Song: Brilliant Sky by Saybia

All the dramarama and teenage feels wasn’t what got me here. It was in the way the lost, mostly abandoned kid got literally under the wing of a guy, who didn’t have the best relationship with his own kids. It was in the way that relationship gave them both something they didn’t have.
Between the friendship struggles and boy dilemma, there were moments where we saw something truly beautiful. The girl. The plane. The sky.

I loved fighting the engine, throttling down, nearly stalling, and negotiating a peace between the airplane and the sky.

Over and out
